About me

I am a trained and qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher (Level 1 and Level 2). The Level 1 Teacher Training was with the School of Kundalini Yoga (SKY) in the UK and the Level 2 Teacher Training was with the Amrit Nam Sarovar school (ANS) in France.

I teach in a variety of settings both in the UK and Greece - in yoga studios, gyms, corporate environments, summer festivals as well as one-to-one.

I began my journey to becoming a Yoga Teacher in the summer of 2004 when I attended my first Kundalini Yoga class. I immediately felt inspired and moved by my experiences in the class. Over the next few months I felt more and more that I wanted to explore the system on a deeper level and I decided to study the Level 1 Teacher Training.

At this point I was working as a Civil Engineer for a multinational consultancy in the UK... I felt that my life was about to change in a major way.

I found the training profound and deeply transforming and I wanted to share this with other people. I started teaching classes in Brighton immediately after I finished Level 1 Teacher Training, although I was still working as a Civil Engineer. Eventually, it felt right for me to resign from my engineering career and to become a full time teacher.

The Level 2 Teacher Training took me on a challenging and transformative journey and has enhanced my understanding of the deeper aspects of life. It was this that inspired me to design the RecoverYoga courses in order to teach tools that can be used by eveyday people for everyday challenges.

Recently I completed a counselling skills course in order to enhance my relationship with my students.

My story as a Yoga Teacher continues to unfold each day.
